The Good Old Days

I found this picture and thought that you might all enjoy it! Oh how I miss those days. I love you all! Keep on smiling!

So I obviously need a lesson in formatting my posts. I will try to do better so it doesn't look junky. If any of ya'll have a suggestion or two let me know. The picture with the flags was taken in Dawson Creek British Columbia. It is the famous milestone post where the alcan (alaska canada) highway begins. The bridge is the only orginal bridge left on the highway.

I snored most of the way. I was so mad at Mike when he took this but then I laughed. Thought you would enjoy a chuckle. This is the kids at Tesla

Lake, the prettiest village on the whole trip. And me in the sign post forest at Watson Lake. There are probably 50 more posts like this one covered with signs from all over.

Oh and how can I forget Mike's swinging adventure in Whitehorse. He was so proud of the air he got!
Welcome to Alaska
This is me in front of the church at whitehorse. I remember pictures of grandma and grandpa in front of the same sign.
Well I hope you enjoyed the picts. I will probably post more later. But take a long hard look at the ones of me because I will not be postin' myself again!

Good Things

So after Trisdan's invite to share feelings about Harry Potter...I thought it might be a good idea if we open up our family website to include recipes and book recommendations, or any good ideas. I want Trisdan to post her Thai coleslaw recipe ASAP...I have been craving. So to start the new trend here are some "good things" I have experienced in the past month:

1. The Bourne Ultimatum-this movie is why we go to movies. I laughed during parts I shouldn't have just out of pure delight.

2. The Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer. If you haven't read these books yet, you should, they are so fun. Seth hates me when I read them because I can't stop...it also doesn't help that I am in love with a character in the book named Edward and that he is a vampire.....

3. Running-Trisdan and others have inspired me! I have been running about 3 miles 5 days a week for the past month. I feel so good. I would love to go back in time to 7th grade and run the fun run now...I would be the champion for sure.

Nightime Bath

Last night I was getting Lilly ready for her bath. I decided to let her be in the buff for a couple of mintues while I filled up the bath tube and got her p.j.'s. It took maybe 3 minutes and this is what I found when I came back! She started out on her back. Thought you all might enjoy!

Cascade Falls

Nobody has posted for a while so I thought I would post some pictues of a hike that we went on with Ben and Sarah. It is only a 1 mile round trip hike that goes to a waterfall. The waterfall isn't has big as it has been in years past but it is still a neat little hike. Scott, Ben, and I have all worked on this trail when we have worked for the Forest Service.

Family Pictures

The family pictures look awesome! I am so glad we decided to go with a color theme. My favorite part is looking for Tatum, don't get jealous Mags, but she looks a little close to Mike...hahahaha....anyway if you havn't already seen them, enjoy!

Moving to the East side!

I thought I better put this news on the Boyle Family Press. Scott and I have accepted a job offer from Uncle Bill so we will be moving to Monticello in December. Bill said that he would wait for me to finish school. We are both very excited. We said that we wanted to end up in a small town with the temple and family close by. Doesn't get much better that Monticello and Scott's brother lives just 2 hours away in Grand Junction. We couldn't be happier.

The Girls/Hairspray

I just thought these pictures were adorable. Isabella and Sophia look so cute in their dance outfits. Sophie hasn't started dance yet but she loves to dance around and wear Isabella's old leotards and shoes. Their new favorite thing to do together is listen to the Hairspray movie cast recording and dance around. Bella always wants to be Amber Von Tussle. She likes them snotty! BTW go see Hairspray. It is fabulous. I loved every minute of it. I know that sounds really predictable of me but I haven't really liked many recent movie musicals and I only went to this because I didn't want to go to Transformers with Seth. (He took Carson to that and I took the girls to Hairspray). John Travolta scared me at first but I thought his campy performance was brilliant at best. Nikki Blonsky was so perfect, she was born for the role. It is funny because I HATE this show but the movie made me a fan. It is usually the opposite. I could go on and on....Christopher Walken, always amazing, Zac Efron, meh, but Isabella was in love with her crush. My crush of the movie, James Marsden, cute, cute, cute....(not as cute as Seth, but 2nd place)......go see it, it is a happy, great movie......

Cedar Cityians

We live in Cedar City and our only child is 3 months old so I don't have any exciting birthday parties, first day at school, or recently moved thousands of miles away type of news but I thought I would say hi and try out this blogging stuff. I have never done one of these so I hope I am doing it right. Ang I am so excited you did this. It will help us do what Grandma said and "keep the family together". Lilly is growing so fast. Her hair had all the sudden started growing and it is coming in dark with a little bit of curl.
I have to explain the picture of me. I am the beehive advisor in our ward and when I went to girls camp the girls did this to my hair. Because of a slew of events I had to go to Lins to get some things for girls camp and I had no time to go home and change my hair. So I went into Lins supermarkent looking like this!

Back to School

So my kids are in year round school and today was Carson's first day of Kindergarten. I love the picture of Sophie "congratulating" him. I think he looks so handsome in his bright blue shirt ($6.99 at Target). He didn't cry and proudly walked into his class with his new teacher Mrs. Karren. I am so excited for him.
